1. About the Service

Boss Tradie Tools ("Boss Tradie", "we", "us") is a cloud-based software-as-a-service platform designed for Australian trade businesses. The platform provides tools for quoting, invoicing, job management, client management, scheduling, and business administration.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Boss Tradie, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the service.

4. Subscription & Billing

• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
• Use the service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorised third parties.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Boss Tradie, including quotes, invoices, client information, job records, and business documents. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export or delete your data at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Boss Tradie and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Boss Tradie harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users, the service, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
